Fireweed is a true sign of summer here in Alaska. This one is telling us we’re about halfway through summer, as the blooms open summer fades.

The fireweed overlay was hand cut using a jewelers saw, the bezel was hand shaped to fit the Strawberry Quartz perfectly. The piece is open behind the stone , allowing light to pass through. It was finished with the addition of oxidation in the depths, and a high polish on the surface. The pendant hangs on an 20” sterling silver chain and is One of a Kind.
