This brooch was originally crafted for the Raven show hosted annually by the AK Songbird Institute. It was created using a Raven carved from Obsidian, cut & carved by Sierra Stones. All metalwork was done in my home studio. The bezel was crafted and shaped to fit the raven, real cedar fronds were cast in silver & used as accents. A lovely patina finishes the brooch to highlight detail. The brooch has a width of just over 1 inch and is about 1 and 3/8th inches tall.
